| How do I apply for testing conditions to accommodate my additional needs? |
| Before the test |
|
If you have a disability (e.g. physical, visual, hearing), medical condition or other impairment which means the standard manner in which the test is set up requires change, ACER can make the appropriate arrangements if you inform us as soon as possible. Examples of the types of allowances that can be made are additional time for the test, assistance with access to test rooms, and enlarged test papers. You should submit a detailed statement to this effect to the HPAT-Ulster Office at ACER (fax: +613 9277 5757 or email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) as soon as you have completed your test registration. Please include your HPAT-Ulster Candidate Number in your correspondence (this is your customer number on your payment receipt). Your statement must be received at the HPAT-Ulster Office by 11 January 2012 and be accompanied by a letter (no more than one year old) from a registered health practitioner (such as a medical doctor) outlining your condition and the kind of support needed. The HPAT-Ulster Office may not be able to accommodate candidates who do not provide this information by the stated deadline. All information received will be treated with utmost confidentiality. |
